Sometimes, you may want to copy a table from Excel to Word without the borders. This can be useful if you want to keep the table’s data but not its formatting. You learn how to copy a table without borders from Excel to Word.

How to copy a table to Word?

To do this, follow these steps:

Select the table in Excel. Copy [CTRL + C keyboard shortcut] the table.

Open the Word document where you want to paste the table. Position the cursor where you want to insert the table.

Right-click and select “Paste Options”.

In the “Paste Options” dialog box, select “Keep Text Only”.

The table will be pasted into the Word document without its borders.

There is new problem. Headers and some values are not properly copied. However, you can quickly correct it by formatting the document in the Word application. In my example, I did it by placing the cursor before the text and pressing the Tab button.

You can also use the “Paste Special” option to select a different paste format, such as “Paste as Picture” or “Paste as HTML”.
