Exporting Excel Data as HTML with Advanced Formatting
In addition to the basic HTML table that is created when you export Excel data as HTML, you can also export your data with more advanced formatting. This can be done by using the HTML Options dialog box.
To open the HTML Options dialog box, click the Publish button in the Save As dialog box. Then, click the Tools button and select HTML Options.
The HTML Options dialog box contains a number of settings that you can use to control the formatting of the exported HTML table. For example, you can specify the following:
- The font and font size of the text in the table
- The border style and border color of the table
- The background color of the table and the table cells
- The alignment of the text in the table cells
- The width and height of the table cells
You can also use the HTML Options dialog box to export your data as a single file or as a set of multiple files. If you choose to export your data as a set of multiple files, the HTML table will be saved as one file and the images in the table will be saved as separate files.
